Chief Unveils the Next Evolution of its RackBuilder^® Online Rack Configuration Tool

Chief's web-based RackBuilder^® application has been upgraded with new user-friendly features that make building complex rack solutions easier than ever

Weert, Netherlands (APR 2012) - www.chiefmfg.com - Chief, an industry leader in mount, rack and interactive solutions, is launching the next evolution of RackBuilder^®, its intuitive web application for configuring Raxxess^® Series rack solutions.

RackBuilder gives customers the ability to visually configure their custom rack solution and then generates a load diagram that can be used for building a solution. After gathering customer feedback, Chief has implemented new user-friendly features that make the application – RackBuilder 2.0 – easier to use and more powerful than ever. Upgrades include:

Smart logic and real-time notification about accessory compatibilities
An upgraded, streamlined interface
A 3rd party components compatibility database
Drag-and-drop editing
The ability to save a library of configurations
Access to MSRP pricing
A SpecBuilder™ automated collection option that gathers all necessary DWG, CAD and related documents

"Built-in notifications alert the user if an accessory or third-party component won’t work in the chosen rack, or if you run out of U-spaces during your build.
